A Passion for the 7th Art

Olivier Chagnon is a passionate director and videographer. Having obtained a BAC in Cinema from the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema at Concordia University in Montreal, he is a member of the ARRQ (Association of Directors of Quebec). From a young age, Olivier was interested in cinema and developed a passion for visual arts and writing, inspired by Steven Spielberg. He made short films from the age of 14 and a feature film at 15. After studying at Cégep St-Laurent with a concentration in cinema, he created Cinetix Films Inc. in 2007, a production company that produced various types of videos, including corporate, advertising, wedding, music and training videos. In 2008, his career took a turn when he began collaborating with Marcel Maroist in Los Angeles on projects involving Hollywood celebrities, mid- and large-budget television shows and films.

Despite his success, Olivier continued his studies by obtaining a BAC in Cinema to deepen his theoretical and cultural knowledge in the field. His business has also evolved to offer photography and video production services, with a team of professionals passionate about visual arts who deliver quality work to their clients.
